Keep it or cut and run!

I have a 2015 Outback with just over 30,000 miles.  It was in the shop for a
week and had the following repairs that were covered under the powertrain
warranty:
valve cover oil leak
Replace upper oil pan with updated part service bulletin 02-166-17R
Removed and resealed cam carrier with gasket
Rear exhaust cam cap removed and replaced
Replaced related seals and gaskets

These repairs are warranted until September 2019 when the powertrain
warranty runs out.  I usually keep a car for 10+ years but now have my doubts
about this one. Should I go car shopping before the warranty runs out?

Really depends on your risk tolerance...on the one hand these items are all fixed now... especially with the service bulletins....if you want to get another Subaru...a newer model could have similar issues... and replacing a car that is only 3 years old is one of the most expensive things to do.... Otherwise, get a Toyota or Mazda.......if you are suspect of the brand... they are pretty much rock solid in their quality control... Finally, if you can tolerate an all electric car for city driving...it will be less expensive to maintain...... my next city car will probably be all electric...

Those are minor repairs. If your engine does not use oil and the CVT works I would keep it. If it is in the shop every other week you might want to dump it.
