Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 outback. About every 14 months I have to replace the battery. The first 2 times dealer said it is just a batch of bad batteries. Now i am replacing it for the 3rd time. Its under battery warrenty but it is becoming a worry.

The standard battery is too small. I suggest installing a larger (more amps) battery such as Optima or Interstate. Since I replaced my too small Forester battery I have not had a problem.
