2015 Jeep Cherokee all of a sudden cruise control won’t work and 4WD message appears to be disable

while driving at a 45 mph zone, I drove over some rough road when all of a
sudden i got a message that 4wd was temporarily disabled and the cruise
control won’t engage.

You may be still under warranty, I would find out and take it to a dealer to check it out....
