dashboard gear indicator

Asked by GuruXD89T Oct 02, 2018 at 09:17 AM about the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: General

I accidentally hit the paddles on the steering wheel and put the car in manual
shifting.  I think I have that turned off, but now notice that when the car is in
drive, next to the "D" on the dashboard will be faint numbers 1-8, depending on
which gear the car is automatically in.  Not sure if this was there before and I
never noticed it, or if something is still engaged.
