Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mark - if the car runs out of gas, has several gallons added, runs 400 yds, stops, won't start and there is no sound of the fuel pump puming - would this indicate a fuuel pum failure

It could either be the fuel pump or the relay. Thats what happened to mine as well but I didnt run out if fuel. I replaced the relay and the fuel pump. That's where I would start first in stead of spending about 200 bucks on a new fuel pump and then thats not it. My relay cost a bout 12 bucks.
