NO HEAT 1997 JIMMY ! ! !

NO HEAT, 4,3 ltr ((302,789 kms)),,, Ok the List of NEW Stuff !!, Changed the Heater Core( had a small drip on interior floor),, Changed the Fan Motor , Changed the Thermostat , Air Con Core removed ( Airbox Cleaned out ) ,, REMOVED the DASH and Checked the Flow Doors, BOTH of them (( not access behind Glover in 97 Jimmy )) ,,,,,, Changed the Water pump (( Blew a bearing! ! ! )) ,, ((Switched out the Rad Cap with my Truck as it has the same Engine and Excessive Heat )) ,, TEMP GAUGE NEVER gets to 100C and i have a NEW 98C Thermostat ,, CHECKED the Steel Rad pipe cause they plug up (( but that would overheat it )) ,, Someone suggested the Parts Store gave me the Wrong water Pump,, So I have Cardboard in front of the RAD and i took the Fan OFF and MINUS 16c ( 0 f ?? )) @ 90k / 55mph down the highway and Temp does not come up to 100C ( 212f ) ,,, Now are you as Stumped as I am !!!.............  HELP !!!!!!

had the same problem with my 2001....the rad was full of what I call loon crap and it started overheating....was told it was a manufacturer error...I didn't own it at the time but they did have a recall on it...they used some kind of metal that reacted and caused it to build up in the rad.... after having it flushed 3 times I ended up having to replace the rad plus gaskets cause it was leaking anti freeze and check your antifreeze level too...my level was low at one point and the inside of the vehicle would not throw heat..in the end I think the only thing that I didn't replace was the water pump...very expensive fix when u take it to a garage and each one tries something different....oih
