2001 escape 4 cylinder runs rough occasionally

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife told me that every 2 months or so when she is doing errands with multiple stop
and starts her escape will not idle. Once she gets home and it sits for a couple of hours
its fine again Its a 5 speed so she has to keep 1 foot on the gas all the time. Runs great
otherwise.

Bought the car about a year ago. Not sure if its been replaced but I am shortly. It doesn't look old. We will see. Thanks
