Boot is locked and cannot be opened

So you have power and it opens electrically, but the key mechanism will not work? or you need to service the lock, use a torch / flashlight illuminate into the boot. View the brass colored rod that pushes down on the actuator. Use a wood doll rod or tapered broom stick screw a square bend hook into the end then run the rod / broom stick into the boot through the unzipped ski bag. Line up the square bend hook over where the activator should be - below the bottom of the brass colored rod - and push down on the actuator and release the latch.
