I have a 97 Yukon with a seized 350 small block
but a friend said they will sell a 305 long block will
it fit into my Yukon and will the performance
suffer?

You will have less power and torque. A 305 is not a good choice for a heavy SUV.

Thank you and it's just that I was uncertain about it but I had the opportunity to get an engine for a good price I wasn't too worried about the condition of the 305 in question because I know whose vehicle it came out of but I will just wait and work on rebuilding the 350 PS he told me it was a 305
