I need help please!!!

Ok i have a 97 gmc jimmy and i had tbe fuel pump
replaced yesterday and it ran fine key on key off all
day no probs at all  the following moringthats
today it started up fine after about 30 mins of me
driving it jus shut off i thought it ran out of gas but
it didnt  i even checked the fuel filter to see if it was
clogged and it was clean,but no fuel is
getting/going into the main rail to the motor what
can it be???

You may have squashed the filter sock on the end of the fuel pick up tube. Was there pressure at the fuel filter when you loosend the lines? Can you hear the pump run when you turn the key on? Is should run 3-10 sec. then shut off every time the switch is turned on.
