1996 GMC G3500 Vandura 6.5l non-turbo heavy-duty extended commercial cargo van fuel filter

Drivers side frame rail , if I remember correctly it's closer to the rear than the front. Note ....under the hood there is a valve (looks kinda like a tire valve stem ) .take Cap'off and depress the inner pin/valve to release the pressure of the fuel system before breaking fuel filter lines looses .)Safety first ! You will get some fuel from the lines stay clear and a small bucket wouldn't hurt to catch it .do jot use a regular (light bulb )drop light .if fuel spray hit's hot bulb it will explode amd you will have a very bad day .Good luck
