What else do I need to check to find out why the brake lights do not work?

Asked by john_020349 Sep 17, 2015 at 09:15 PM about the 1996 GMC Yukon SLE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Things that have been done:
Grounding good, bulbs good, all fuses could find are good, all connections
could find are good, brake light peddle switch replaced with a new one,
blinkers, running lights and backup lights work on both sides, No voltage
present at the connector on the left and right tail light assembly when brake
peddle is pushed.  Top center brake light works.
