Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2015 f150 has a clicking sound coming from
the dash when the truck is on or off sounds like it's
coming from the speaker on my dash. Radio
doesn't come on the screen stays black just shows
the time temp and date. It started yesturday when I
started my truck with about 40 to 50 below zero
wind chill.

That would drain my battery and continue to click even without my keys in the ignition?

Mine is currently doing this it’s driving me nuts, had to replace the battery so I can start it in the mornings. I can’t find any answers online. Did you solve yours?

I actually pulled the speaker cover off and could feel the speaker itself moving making the ticking sound so I know it’s going through the audio system. This is just a symptom I believe as the media tab on the sync 3 display flashes when it’s touched but it won’t enter the the associated page, the volume controls don’t work on the dash or steering wheel, even the dings that go off as you start the truck. It normally chimes 3 times the first two through a small speaker in the dash and the final one comes through the full audio system this doesn’t happen any more, I haven’t heard a noise come out of my speakers for weeks now. The back up sensors come through a tiny speaker separate from my audio as well. When my phone is connected to the truck I can activate voice commands but my phone can’t hear me so I assume the microphone in the truck is not powered. These issues all started before I changed the battery I was hoping the new battery would fix them as I heard my truck had a power management system that could shut down the non essential systems to save starting power. No such luck. Starting to look like my truck needs a ACM replacement. But I was really hoping the original posted managed to fix there’s.
