How to adjust the hood gap

Typically the hinges have holes bigger than the bolt size to allow the hood to be moved around a little for fitting.

One of the more maddening body panels to adjust. Get some help. Use a marker or strip of tape on the underside of the hood to indicate the current position of the hood spring then make tiny incremental adjustments. If you're just starting to realign a hood after having it off the vehicle might help to take the latch off - it's not designed to align a hood only to keep it closed. Check out YT vids on hood alignments.

First you loosen the bolts- then sweat and grunt- you may not have any luck because it may have rolled out of the factory like that-
