Fuel problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The last two times I got gas, my car doesn't want
to start. It takes several tried before it will start. It
runs fine other than right after I get gas.  I've gotten
gas a different locations both times but it is
locations I frequent often. My car had a 1/4 tank
each time prior to fill up. Idea of what is wrong?

What engine in this vehicle? Any warning lights on or flashing?

Could be a problem with the EVAP system. Make sure you don't "top off" after the gas pump initially shuts off. It's typical for a bad vent solenoid to cause this, or a bad purge solenoid. Check if you have any codes stored in your OBD system, any auto parts place can check codes for free.
