Camry won't start after fuel leakage check, what's the problem?
Hello all, I have a question regarding my 2014 Toyota Camry. I live in
Houston and we just had a hurricane. My Camry recieved what looked like
minimal damage (a little water on the floorboard). I was at a friends for some
days and after the storm was able to drive home, and to other places as
needed for a couple days. Today my car started making a humming noise
after I turned it off which is related to the Camry's fuel system leakage check.
I thought it was no problem and let it run. Several hours later when I tried to
start the car it wouldn't. I would hear only clicks. The headlights would turn on
but when I tried to stat the car they would dim or go off. I thought it was a
battery problem so I started to jump it. I weird thing happened though, when I
connected the wires, the camry started making the humming noise as if it
had never finished the leakage check and drained the battery trying to. I tried
to start the car, it would turn over once the devolve into clicks again. Any
ideas whats wrong? Do i have a fuel pump leakage? Battery/alternator
problem? Another flood related problem? Any ideas would be much
apreciated
