Electrical shut down

Make sure the terminals are cleaned and fresh to make contact with that new battery - Also wouldn't hut to have the alternator check to make sure it is charging the new battery

I get power everywhere until I try to start the truck then everything shuts down immediately
Does it come right back on after you release the key? if it was running and then died and didn't have enough power to turn it back over your battery does not have enough power to crank it - therefore the battery has failed, bad connection or bad alternator. I have actually purchased a brand new battery and it failed immediately after I installed it - never got the car running until I took it back and exchanged it.
