Remote starters are disabled if there is a check engine light being displayed, or if there is less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Also make sure the hood is fully closed/latched and the safety switch for the hood latch is working.
when I push the start button, the accessory mode turns on and all the signs show up on the dashboard but when I try to start the car, the engine does not turn on. If I step out and try to turn it on with the remote starter then it starts but it turns off again when I open the door. As remote starter is off market.
