what is the value of 20" wheels vs. 17"?

truck shopping... I want 20" wheels but is there a valid reason or just emotion?

If the truck was outfitted with 20" wheels when built, it may have larger brake discs and pads as well. This would provide enhanced braking if driving heavy loads.

No difference if the tires are the same diameter. Be careful because some 17`s will not fit where 20`s were. Best rule of thumb is "You can go up in diameter but not down"
