Jetta Engine shaking

Asked by Brian Jul 19, 2019 at 11:49 AM about the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2015 Jetta Engine shaking while driving as
well while in idle. Heavy puttering sound
when I give it gas and then isles to a slow
putter (nearly a stall). When reving I’m
neutral, heard a loud pop/bang. Shut it down
and waiting for mechanic to come get
tomorrow.

Do the above symptoms sound like anything
obvious to anyone?

Thank you,

Brian
