Smog test

Asked by GuruXD6SM Jul 10, 2019 at 07:07 PM about the 2015 MINI Cooper S 4-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I am in process of a sale through car guru. Buyer is
arranging financing. I currently have a loan on the
car. Will the dedicated agent take care of the
transfer of funds to pay off my loan? Do I need to
get a smog test?

If your state requires a smog test to sell the car then you need to smog it first. My state does.

Is the buyer arranging financing through this site or on their own. On their own, you should complete the deal at your bank, so the loan can be satisfied and they can mail the title to the new owner. Cargurus is only involved if the buyer uses autopay.
