A 2015 Dodge that has broken down? Imagine that. What is wrong with the shifter?

I put $12,000 down and financed the rest, total $27,995 right around that before other fees. The dealership is acting as if they can't give me money back. Would anyone happen to know the laws in Tx on this ? We notified the bank of the issue.

You are going to lose thousands by dumping the car now. What exactly was wrong and did the dealer fix the car? Buy an extended warranty if you keep your DOdGe.

How am I going to loose thousands ? I haven't even made my first payment. The vehicle already had warranty, but who really wants a to keep a vehicle that you've only had 2 weeks and it breaks down on you ? I need a reliable vehicle and one that's not in and out of the shop.

Yes the dealer has had it a week since purchasing on March 8th. They claim to have it fixed with corrosion in the shifter causing it to lock up and light up like a Christmas tree. I received every imaginable warning including windshield wipes that would not stop, this all continued after vehicle was shut off. When I poped the trunk to get my suitcase out after calling a taxi, the wouldn't even stay closed. The vehicle couldn't be locked.
