Question type: Maintenance & Repair

so car sat for a while i put a battery in it took a
lot of cranks for her to turn over and when it
did it idled horribly like engine trembling verge
of stalling bad. so now it’s tough to get it to
turn over really doesn’t want to turn over most
times but again when it does it idles very bad.
it had codes for the tps which i replaced fixed
nothing. had codes for two other sensors but
i’m not sure that’s my issue since it’s having
trouble starting at all. i’m thinking fuel pump
any thoughts?

What's it got for fuel pressure? Have you checked the condition of the spark plugs? Another thought how's the timing?

i haven’t checked out the timing belt the spark plugs were recently replaced but i do plan on pulling them out and inspecting them. not sure i can get the fuel pressure

i did clean the throttle body when i replaced the tps but you’re right i’ll do new plugs and wires tomorrow

Those codes are for a throttle position sensor, engine coolant temp sensor and engine intake air temperature sensors. Do you have damaged or disconnected wires under the hood?

all the wires are connected no tears or issues i’m not sure where the ground for the tps sensor is so i can’t confirm that’s all good but i did replace the tps still getting same codes same starting/running issues
