Solid Check Engine light and green flashing Cruise Control light

Asked by JimboSlice509 Mar 03, 2020 at 08:53 PM about the 2005 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was just checking my fluids and my air filter, charging my battery and also
checked the throttle body and now when i got in my car to pull out of the
garage i had the Check Engine light on (solid) and also the green Cruise
Control light flashing. when i checked the filter i unplugged my air control
sensor so maybe that has something to do with it? i went through and made
sure my caps were all on tight and dip sticks in all the way. no code reader
so i dont know the code... any suggestions?

Read the code if removing and/or jiggling the MAF sensor plug doesn't do it. Did you tighten the air filter box venturi ring clamp after swapping the filter?
