no beeping when locking/unlocking 2015 Prius C with key fob

I don't have a chirping sound when I lock or unlock my car with the key fob. Is that something that can be programmed?

Stay near the car with the fob. Hit the lock button. Did you hear the doors lock? If so, hit the lock button a second time...it should chirp. With most cars, you have the option of locking it without arming it. Kind of a pointless extra step if you ask me.

Auto_Centric, great answer. I read the manual,nothing mentioned about setting beep or horn on lock or unlock. Have anymore worthless wiseass answers?
