Laws vary from State to State. Check all your paperwork associated with the purchase of the vehicle. If it's not mentioned anywhere, check the actual title, if you have it. A branded title will have a letter, usually "S", for salvage on it somewhere on the front of the title. If the title is not branded with such a letter, go to your insurance company, with the actual title, and get it straigened out. The burden of proof lies with them. If you do have a branded title and there's no mention of it in the paperwork visit your local Office of Consumer Affairs and see what can be done. Where I live something like that must be disclosed before you buy the vehicle. In fact you have to sign a statement acknowledging you know the vehicle you're buying has a branded title. Good luck to you! Hope that helps! Jim
