Roll by the dealership, it could be covered under warranty. I doubt the fix is a spring lying in a parts bin at the dealership. More likely, it is part of an assembly which has to be replaced.

I have the same problem. Got cupholder back in, now have the spring in hand. It's like a Rubick's cube...
