Questionable Dealer did not return a deposit.

About 2 1/2 weeks ago I was in negotiation with one of your dealers which
advertised a car on your web site Flood Mazda.  Initially I gave them a $500
deposit on American Express however the deal fell through. As yet the
deposite  has not been reversed.  I contacted them
but have not been advised by them of any action.  I trust you only deal with
reputable dealerships.  Can you investigate.  Albert Glenn Diggs

Cargurus is just a listing ad site and will not advocate for you. I suggest you push the dealer for a refund. Back in the day, when I put $100 check deposit on a vehicle, it took a month till they agreed to mail me a check. I called every 3 days. I suggest you contact American Express if you don't get any resolution.

Do you have a written receipt? American Express can probably help you. Notify them and ask them to help get your deposit back.

They have 30 days from the day you canceled. That's the law. Put American Express on notice about this. I suspect you won't get your money back until the 30th day. Hope that helps! Jim
