Question type: Shopping & Pricing
I'm 16 years old and would like to insure a
leased 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker in
Michigan. I already know insurance is going
to be astronomical... Just would like an
estimate of how high... Thanks!

$8,000 a year, $670/month. But it will be more than that. They would only give me a minimum liability premium without filling out name, address etc.
That's right 'shoes. The only place that would quote at all gave me that for minimum liability. NO comprehensive/collision/un-underinsured motorist. I wouldn't be surprised if it is double or more. And really...if you do this I hope you see your 17th birthday. Your parents should think this over.
Call Anthony at Choice Pro Insurance.. he can give you an exact quote. 951-206-6588. Tell him Doug at Military Auto Center referred you. He is a broker and shops about 50 or so company's. We work with a lot of young military and he seems to get them some very good quotes even for high performance cars. I am driving a 2011 Challenger SRT8 392.. monster of a car.. love it. You can check it out on our web site. Good luck and stay safe out there.. especially in a car like this.
I'm not doubting your suggestion MAC7Auto, but can a 16 year old even enter a lease contract?
The Q was about a quote for insurance.. 16 .. he can drive... the status of him owning a vehicle is moot but it would be wise of him to know cost of insurance at his age. Good for him doing the research and being informed.
