The glass roof on my 2016 Edge, rear panel, just cracked from front to back. Dealer says it’s the laminated glass. Not strong enough, so now Ford is only supplying tempered glass. I heard it crack as I was driving. Looking into class action and calling Ford in Michigan tomorrow. Car has extended warranty so if it’s a problem, that should cover our deductible of $500. What a nightmare!

sometimes referred as the sunroof or moonroof depending on the size.
