Will a Ford Edge 2016-2017 fit in a one car garage?

Question type: General

I have a one car garage that is 86" wide and 185" deep plus a four foot pad
at front.   The car has a length of 188" which is a foot shorter than my current
2007  Chevy Impala.
The width of the edge is 76" and 82"-83" with the mirrors out.  Will it fit in a
garage with an 8 foot wide door with the mirrors folded in?  
Anyone with information on this please let me know.

Well let's see....your garage is 185" deep and the car has an overall length of 188". This calculates to be 3" too much car for the garage. I am not sure why you aren't understanding that. Why not go test drive a Ford Edge and stop by your house to see if it fits in the garage space?

How can your garage be 86" wide with an 8 ft wide door, which is 96"?
