2016 Ford Edge rear wiper assembly- removal

Asked by GuruBR5W8 Jan 15, 2019 at 07:28 AM about the 2016 Ford Edge SEL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the rear wiper assembly snapped off (frozen to window and was operated)
leaving about 3 inches of the arm,. I have the new arm but can not get the
remaining piece off of the stem. Nut is removed. Any suggestions to remove the
remaining piece to not cause further damage to the stem?

A battery cable puller or similar tool is necessary to remove it.
