can you help me update my vin?

i listed my 2006 Saleen Mustang for sale. I cant reply to the interested person until i enter a VIN# i tried and it wont update saying the VIN is for a 2006 Ford MUstang which is what the car was before it went to Saleen from Ford. I tried entering the plate # instead but the site says no go because the Florida tag and NY listing dont match. i tried updating the car to a 2006 Ford Mustang with negative results. can you help me? id like to answer the interested person.
