2016 Tuscan

Asked by bartnil Jan 01, 2020 at 10:22 AM about the 2016 Hyundai Tucson 2.0L SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a certified 2016 Tuscan 9 days ago, it ran and looks great, 22000
miles, clean car fax. Went out to start it and it would not start. Totally dead.
Battery will not jump what could be the problem?

The battery might have a shorted cell. Test the voltage on it. It should be over 12V. If it is at 4V or below, then that is your answer.

The battery is probably 4 years old. Time for a new one. Try Interstate or Optima.

Read the warranty. Maybe batteries are covered.
