396/375hp

I have a numbers matching 396
375 hp however my firewall plate
says its a 325 hp? Is it possible
that the care was ordered with the
375hp and plate was wrong? I
knew the second owner and ot
had the same motor and trans
th400?? Thank u

I dont have them handy but We went through the motor and it had 4 bolt mains and all L7 protocols the correct heads with square portsCraig high rise manifold with 750 dual feed and correct bore. All numbers match. I WAS TOLD THAT sometimes they may not have the correct car for the order I put the motor and Trans in to fill the order for if it was special order for somebody in Van Nuys I don't know how true that is but my car is proof to some extent it also has a 12-bolt posi rear end??
