Can you turn fog lights on permanently?

Running fog lights without having adverse weather conditions may be illegal in some jurisdictions. Also some motorists may be annoyed by your bright assed fog lights being on all the time. This could lead to complaints to law enforcement or a hammer being utilized to turn them off. Don't do it.
