Can replace the taillight lens from a 2016 yukon xl

Yes it can be done. There may be hidden screws that you will see when the tailgate is opened.

Hi F_O_R , I took the light fixture off the truck and there are 5 screws the back off it took them out but the lens is not moving at all . It looks like the lens is glued or welded to the fixture. I am worried that I might brake it by putting more force to it .Any thoughts?

The lens is molded to the taillamp assembly. There is no way to remove the lens without cracking it into several pieces. ...even if you cut all the way around with something like a Dremel cutting wheel, the odds of putting the assembly back together, cleaning, without leaking I would venture to say is impossible. http://www.yukontaillightrepair.com/about/ ...that might have some answers or solutions for you... Why do you need to replace the lens?
