Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2001 base v6 mustang and am working on putting a carburated 302 (out of an 87 mustang) in it. The transmission in it now is an aod-e and i need to know if i need to go get the trans out of an 87 to make it work. Any suggestions appreciated!

yes you will also have to take electric fuel pumo out of gas tank and get a non electric fuel sending unit.

the aode comes in the 94-95 mustang with a windsor bell housing patter but it is an electric over drive trans your better off doing a c4 3 spd auto or an aod non electric out of a fox body mustang.
