2001 v6 Mustang

I just bought a 2001 v6 mustang for a steal
because it won’t start, the previous owner
believes it is an electrical issue because
supposedly the radio won’t even spit out his
cd’s. I’m not very good with car repair so any
ideas on what is likely to be the reason?

I’ll give it a go, but $300 for an electrical problem to fix then flip the car is a profit maker
