When replacing the batteries in the E350, since there are 2 batteries and they both have good voltage but need replacement, can I replace each separately without fear of losing power to the computers?

Thanks, I realize I must use the memory saver while replacing the MAIN battery. But do I have to use it to replace the AUX (smaller) battery?
