Heater Hose to Water pump

Asked by John Mar 21, 2019 at 11:16 AM about the 1992 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr SLE SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Long story short my dad and I were going to replace the heater hose in my
jimmy ( which runs to the back of motor) when the plug broke.. the threads are
still stuck in that hole, so my dad used an ez out bit and it is stuck there.. So he
ran the new hose to the water pump... Now i have no heat.. Is this the reason or
could it be something else??

im confused with that answer. The heater core has 2 hoses.. 1 which goes to the radiator and the other that went to the back of the motor.. all we did was move the hose from the back of the motor to the water pump.. how is that bypassing the heater core???
