Cargo Cab Lights not turning off?

Question type: General
The truck bed lights constantly turn on and off by
themselves when engine isn't on. When the engine
is turned on they stop flashing and work normally.
Shut the engine back down and they start flashing
again. This went on for about 4 hours and now
they work perfectly fine as if there was no problem.
What could cause that? Do not have a bed switch

The cargo light could/should be controlled by the dimmer switch which controls the brightness of the interior lights. Turn the knob or push the button until it clicks and the bed light goes on, Turn or push until it clicks again and they should go off. Problem is probably inside that switch. Remove negative battery cable, remove the electrical plug from the switch. Clean the terminals with contact cleaner and see if it solves the problem. Alternatively, turn the dimmer witch all the way down and click off at night or when you park the vehicle.
now its just not those lights, the hazards are coming on and just recentley the alarm set off, honking horn and flashing lights
Have someone with the proper scan tool check the system. If there is a problem with one of the door locks setting a door ajar or open code, five to eight codes are placed in memory. It would narrow down the area of the problem. For example, if the codes indicate the passenger side door is setting ajar or alarm codes, and you seldom if ever use that door, you may want to check the electrical connector for that door lock. To troubleshoot the electrical problem, you will need a color coded wiring diagram plus a live data scan tool.
