Loud Radiator fan

I have a 2016 F-150 Lariat. Never really noticed this before but when i put the
ac on the loud radiator fan comes on. This is the third summer i have had the
truck. This weekend the temperature was as high as 105F. The air in truck was
nice and cool. Just a very loud fan running until i shut the engine. The coolant
level is ok via the gauge on the dash. Is it normal for this to happen? Never
really heard this before.
