Ordering a mustang from ford

I was told by a firs dealer on June 2 2016 , that I
can't order a new mustang build . I have to wait for
2017's. Aren't they still making 2016's???

Tentative.. 2017 builds, Job 1 production scheduled to commence shortly after on June 2, 2016 . I guess the answer is no more OLD 2016 mustangs can be ordered. Kinda, like an IPHONE!
