2016 Volvo S60 doors dont lock with remote or when touching door handle. Lookedat my carsettings, but still dont lock. Locks work when using manual inside door lock. Why not remote?

Air conditioner was blowing cold air but while driving it started blowing warm. There was no indication that there was a mechanical failure such as smoke or loud screeching sound. There are no indications that the compressor has stopped working. Refrigerant is also full. This makes me believe that possibly a sensor or some other issue is responsible.
