Will we need a memory saver when replacing a battery on the 2016 kia sedona
to avoid having to reflash the computer ? Can it be swapped out without any
major problems ?

Yes you do, the best ones plug into the OBD 2 port and use an external power supply. Most battery supply stores will have a memory saver tool that they will use when they change out your battery.

I'm not a tech. and I certainly never owned a kia so I don't know but I've heard about the problems you might have . We took out the old one and went to get a new and put it in no problem after a search online .
