2016 Subaru Outback locked down after dead battery

Asked by GuruM493K May 09, 2020 at 04:47 PM about the 2016 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery died on my 2016 Subaru Outback after leaving
an interior light on. I opened the car with my valet key to
pop the hood. The alarm went off with a very weak horn. I
turned it off by hitting the alarm button on the key fob. The
battery is now charged but I can't get any lights on the
dash to come on or start the car. The security light
occasionally flashes, but that's it. Any suggestions?
