How do I report a dealership that switches the advertised price up several thousand dollars from the CarGurus listing.

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Two dealerships I have visited have switched the price up from the price they
had listed on the internet. The first one claimed that the internet price was
based on a trade in valued at, at least $3000, or a the equivalent in down
payment. The second one just claimed that CarGurus had made a mistake,
even though everything else in the add was exactly correct.

Read the fine print. Lot of dealers use shady come on's to get people onto their lot. CG's has nothing at all to do with the content of ads. What ever the ad says, the dealer put in the ad.
