When MDS drops into 4 cylinder mode, a
new noise started today which sounds
similar to pinging-detonation. Noise stops
when running on all 8 cylinders.

What does the dealer say? This is a new vehicle. It may be you need to run a higher octain fuel/gas.

    have to switchs cams and put mds plugs in and disable the mds with tuner. lol just did it 4,000 but have a 273 racing cam in her now basiclly a new motor with an extra 100hp
