Air conditioner won't power on after changing battery

Asked by GuruH65PR Aug 05, 2019 at 03:57 PM about the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed a battery with a bad cell for a new battery. After installing,
everything works fine but the air conditioner does not turn on.

Install was successful without any problems. It worked just fine before
installing the new battery.

Is there a reset or something after battery has been disconnected. Is there a
fuse to check?

Had diagnostics done and found out that just connecting the battery cables can damage the electronics. About $1000 to replace the part. So, there's that.
